Now read Julius' text about his family.
While reading, underline all names and family words.

Hello! My name is Julius Mensah. I am eleven years old and I live in Plymouth. I live with my family in St. Jude’s. Our house is 26 Egerton Road. Today I want to tell you about my family, because they are very special to me.

At home I live with my mum, my dad, my sister Grace and my big brother Sam. My mum's name is Ama. She is very nice, and she always smiles. She works as a shop assistant at Sainsbury’s. She works six days a week. I'm sad, because I don't see her a lot on Saturdays. My dad is Kwame Mensah. He is a firefighter and works at the fire station on Southern Terrace. I love him. I think he is very brave. Grace is seven. She loves inline skating and sweets. Oh, and she hates vegetables. I love her. My brother Samuel is really cool He goes to Plymouth High School. He's sixteen and we always spend our time on our bikes in Cental Park.

My parents are from Ghana. They live in England for 25 years now, but my brother and I are from Plymouth.

I have grandparents in two countries. My dad’s parents are Nana Kofi and Adjoa Mensah, they live in Brixton. Grandma tells funny stories about our family in Ghana. My mum’s mother, Akosua Boateng, lives in Ghana. My grandfather Yaw is dead. I only know my grandparents from video calls. My dad has a brother and a sister. Michael Mensah is my uncle. He lives in London with his partner, Daniel Wright, and Daniel’s son Lucas. Uncle Michael is very calm. I like Daniel more. He cooks amazing food, and Lucas is good at drawing superheroes.

My dad’s sister is Esi Mensah-Koranteng. She lives in London too. She is very funny and good at singing. Her husband is Kojo Koranteng. They have twins, Nia and Kofi. They are my age and we always race each other when we meet. Nia usually wins, but she says I’m the fastest on a mountain bike!

My mum has one sister. Her name is Efua Boateng and she lives in Ghana. She has two sons, so I have two cousins in Africa! Their names are Kwesi and Yaw Junior. I only know them from FaceTime, because they live far away. I really hope they can visit me one day. I want to take them to Central Park so we can ride BMX bikes together.

I like my family because everyone is different. Some are calm, some are loud, some are funny, and some are brave. But we all belong together, and that makes me happy.
