My jobs at home

I tidy my room and make my bed,

I tidy so much it hurts my head.

I empty the dishwasher, clean my bike,

but it's riding my bike that I really like!

I tidy the living room, vacuum the floors,

everyday it's just chores, chores, chores!

I take out the rubbish, make Mum a cup of tea,

I work really hard, can't you see?

Read the rhyme out loud together. Lest den Reim zusammen laut vor.
Now one person reads the rhyme out loud. The other two act out what the reader is saying. Example: I tidy my room. - You act like you're tidying your room.
Jetzt liest eine Person den Reim laut vor. Die anderen beiden tun das, was der Leser oder die Leserin vorliest. Zum Beispiel: I tidy my room. - Ihr tut so als würdet ihr euer Zimmer aufräumen.

Who does what?

Pradeep: Look at Mum's note. There are a lot of jobs to do this afternoon.

Sandeep: I can only tidy my room. I have so much homework to do.

Neela: That's not fair! You never help at home.

Sandeep: That's not true. I sometimes empty the dishwasher and I often take out the rubbish. And I always tidy my room and make my bed.

Neela: No, not always. And you never vacuum the floors. I always do that.

Pradeep: Stop fighting! We all have to do our homework. And afterwards we have to do these jobs on Mum's list.

Neela: Yeah, you're right. Mum works in the shop. And she always does the cooking and the shopping. She needs our help.

Sandeep: OK, OK, I can vacuum the floors today and take out the rubbish.

Pradeep: I usually lay the table so I can do that today, too. And I can empty the dishwasher.

Neela: Thank you, boys. And don't forget to tidy your rooms. I can help you with that.

Go to the marketplace and form a group of three. Gehe zum Marktplatz und bilde mit zwei weiteren Kindern eine Dreiergruppe.

Read the dialogue for youself at first. Lest den Dialog zuerst einzeln leise durch.
Decide who takes which role (Sandeep, Pradeep or Neela) and read the dialogue together. Entscheidet, wer welche Rolle (Sandeep, Pradeep oder Neela) übernimmt und lest den Dialog zusammen.
Act out the dialogue. You can use the Faltblattmethode for help. Practice the dialogue a couple of times. Spielt den Dialog zusammen vor. Ihr könnt die Faltblattmethode zur Hilfe nehmen. Übt den Dialog ein paar Mal.
Make a video of your dialogue and upload it. Macht ein Video von eurem Dialog und ladet es hoch.

Faltblattmethode

1. Als Hilfe für den Dialog haben wir euch ein AB mit vier Spalten mitgebracht:

passende Bilder zum Dialog
Version 1: komplette Sätze aus dem Dialog
Version 2: längere Satzanfänge
Version 3: kürzere Satzanfänge

2. Das AB wird so gefaltet, dass ihr z.B. nur die Spalte mit den ganzen Sätzen seht. Diese könnt ihr dann als Hilfe zum Üben in der Hand behalten.

3. Wenn ihr das Gefühl habt, dass ihr die Sätze fast auswendig könnt, könnt ihr auch die Spalten mit den Satzanfängen oder den Bildern zur Hilfe nehmen.

4. Das AB dürft ihr in der Hand behalten, wenn ihr den Dialog aufnehmt.
