On her 18th birthday, Queen Elizabeth received her first pet corgi by her parents. The Queen's first corgi was named Susan, and the pair did everything together. Susan quickly became one of Queen Elizabeth's best friends, and the love of dogs would continue throughout Queen Elizabth's life.
The Queen walked with them in the park, she talked to them in sweet voices, and snuggled with them by the fireplace in Buckingham Palace.
